This is a design idea for illustrating the verticle ecotone that exists in the orchard, with apple trees and strawberries bellow. This bench/seating area is recessed in the ground. When sitting in the bench eye level and ground level are the same exagerating this verticle ecotone. Path could walk through this dip.

nice sketch. I've also got some ideas for the orchard image. will post when i have something to show.
